Venetia Social Club is sponsoring a "Night Out At The Ballpark" The game features the Class A affiliates of the Tampa Rays (Charlotte Stonecrabs) and Miami Marlins (Jupiter Hammerheads). Game time is Thursday April 12 6:30 pm at Port Charlotte Stadium, 2300 El Jobean Rd. Ticket price is $10. with a $4 per vehicle parking fee. Seating is just off 3rd base, field level. This game features a "Thirsty Thursday" beer promotion, $1 domestic drafts and $2 domestic bottles, thru the 5th inning. Call Dave at 497 6502 for tickets.

Start training your ponies for Venetia’s Second 2012 Racing of the Ponies. Some of the same ponies will return for this race and there will be some exciting new first time ponies racing. The evening will start with a Pizza Dinner with salad and dessert.
After we have enjoyed our Pizza Dinner the Ponies will race. So stick around and bring your dollar bills if you wish to wager on your favorite pony. This event has proven to be a great time for all.
Cost of Pizza Dinner is $5.00 per person.
