Casa Di Amici Condominium Association is looking for volunteers to serve on a workshop committee in order to suggest possible changes to the Declarations. This workshop would require attendance at several meetings. CDA needs constructive input from all Unit owners to help alleviate and/or remove developer language as well as other restrictive verbiage contained in the Declarations. Please understand that we are not looking for criticism or anyone with a personal agenda. If you are interested in helping YOUR community by serving on this committee please contact any of your Board members. Thank you.

It has been brought to the attention of the Board of Directors that some Unit owners are not following Casa Di Amici's Declarations pertaining to garbage storage and disposal.
Article XIV (14.4i) states: "All garbage cans shall be located in the garage so as to be concealed from view of neighboring Units, streets, and property located adjacent to the Unit. All rubbish, trash, and garbage shall be stored in appropriate containers with lids and regularly removed from the Condominium Property and should not be allowed to accumulate thereon. Trash shall be placed curbside no earlier than the day prior to pick-up and trash cans shall be returned to the garage no later than the day after pick-up."
It seems that some Unit owners leaving CDA for the summer or prolonged periods are placing their garbage and/or trash in plastic bags outside the garages well in advance of the regularly scheduled Friday pick-up. This presents a problem because animals get into the garbage bags and strew the contents out onto the roadway. The sanitation company does not pick-up this debris and, if it is not cleaned up by a friendly neighbor, it will lay in the streets for days on end. This also allows a proliferation of other animals to make their way into CDA. If you are leaving for a prolonged period perhaps a neighbor will allow you to place your garbage in their receptacle. However, if you are a year-round resident, please follow the above-mentioned garbage policy which requires the use of a trash can.
Thank you for your cooperation.
