The icon to the left of a web address in the locator box is called a favicon (favorte icon). Most websites have them. Notice that I have a row of favicons at the top of my browser for quick access called the Bookmarks Toolbar.
To view this toolbar click "View", then move the cursor to "Toolbars"
In the fly-out menu click on the checkbox next to "Bookmarks Toolbar"
Go to your favorite website and click and drag the favicon to the Bookmarks Toolbar
To remove the words so there is more room on the Bookmarks Toolbar for more favicons, right click on the new favicon and in the drop down menu click properties.
The name of the website will appear in blue, hit delete and click "Save Changes"
To quickly go to one of your favorite website click on the favicon on the Bookmarks Toolbar.
If you forget what website is asscoiate with a favicon, move the cursor over the favicon and a tool tip will pop up and tell you.
To delete a favicon, right click on the favicon and click "Delete"
