Create a Downloads Folder on the desktop , to be used to store programs downloaded from the internet, for easy accress.
In order to create the folder, click the right mouse button anywhere on the desktop
In the pop-up menu choose NEW
In the fly-out menu choose FOLDER
A New Folder icon will appear on the desktop with "New Folder" in blue
Type "Downloads" and press enter to name the new folder
Then Click and Drag the icon to anywhere on the desktop
If you press enter before you rename it, there will be a new icon named "New Folder"
To Rename it, right click on the new icon
In the pop-p menu choose rename
The name of the new folder will appear in blue
Type "Downloads" and press enter
To remove an icon from the desktop, Click and drag it to the recycle bin icon
